The Challenge

Envision was coming to market in the US and UK with technology unlike any other. In a world where Assistive Technology is growing, Envision uses wearable smartglasses and an intuitive AI app to deliver an audio interpretation of what the glasses are seeing – enabling those that are blind or have low vision to ‘see’ what is around them. This needed to be a PR campaign that not only provided news but also educated the media.

The Solution

Create a campaign that educates the media on how assistive technologies can give those with visual disabilities an independent life, both at home and in the workplace. Tandem needed to also position Envision as a leader in the industry with a solution that delivers. Tandem suggested and carried out an intense campaign that included news announcements, event management, article placement, and interviews. Recently this educational campaign has included outreach on how ChatGPT and VoiceAI can be used to further enhance the Envision app and smartglasses.   

The Result

Tandem has achieved fantastic results globally for Envision, with the company’s founders and tech team appearing on several broadcast outlets and in leading publications. CNET covered the product and its capabilities initially, driving more interest in the area; this was soon followed by the BBC, WIRED, Forbes, and more.

The more recent ChatGPT news has reignited the interest, with Envision once again being featured in Forbes, BBC Radio, Vision Monday, and Boston Globe.
