The Challenge

Withings wanted to introduce its latest uranalysis solution – U-Scan – at CES 2023.

Tandem was tasked with managing the launch of U-Scan and generating buzz for U-Scan – with a few weeks to plan. 

The Solution

At CES, at its booth, we utilized interesting facts and stats about the product and its working methods to highlight the features and functionality of the device to the attending CES media.

Along with showcasing the product during the event, we reach out to the media prior to the event to offer the news under embargo and set up product testing opportunities during CES for those media interested.  

The Result

CES 2023 saw the announcement of the Withings U-Scan, and it ‘stole the show.’ The media excitement was clear to see, with U-Scan creating a buzz across national and international media both online, offline, and socially.

CES Unveiled was a major event for Withings, with the stand drawing in huge crowds – all wanting to check out the latest way to monitor your health.

Interviews with high-level media, including The Verge, Engadget,  Tom’s Guide, and more, helped Tandem and Withings achieve 881 media placements, including CNET, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. U-Scan was mentioned on leading broadcast shows, including the Jimmy Kimmel Show and several other news broadcast outlets. In addition, U-Scan had 473 pieces of social media coverage on Twitter.

Alongside this mass amount of coverage, Withings won 7 Best of CES 2023 Awards
